VOTING MEMBERS

Full Practice Members

This category consists of Medical Radiation Technologists certified for full practice by the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT). Members in this category shall only practice Medical Radiation Technology in the discipline in which they are certified by the CAMRT. Members must be registered with the CAMRT and the NLAMRT. Full Practice members in good standing shall have the privilege of attending any annual meeting of the Association, with full voting rights; they shall be eligible to serve on the Board and all Committees. Also includes Professional Liability Insurance, Legal Defense Insurance, and subscriptions to CAMRT and NLAMRT publications.

Limited Practice Members

Limited practice membership is available to individuals who are either licensed or certified by a provincial regulatory authority for limited practice, or by provincial educational authority through an Association-approved program. These members hold full voting privileges, professional liability insurance coverage, and all mailings from both Associations. This category of member cannot hold office with in the NLAMRT and must access CAMRT membership through the NLAMRT.

Life Members

Members, elected by the NLAMRT Executive who have rendered distinguished service to the NLAMRT and who have served in an outstanding and distinguished manner as Medical Radiation Technologists. These members have voting privileges and may hold office in the NLAMRT.

Senior Members

This membership is available to those persons who have been active members of the CAMRT for thirty (30) years and a member of the NLAMRT for the last ten (10) of those years. Senior Members have all the rights and privileges of members.

Non-Practicing Member

CAMRT certified members who have temporarily or permanently discontinued their practice, but wish to maintain their relationship with the NLAMRT. These members have voting privileges, can hold office, and receive all mailings from both Associations. Reinstatement to Full Practice Membership involves the same process as if you had resigned in good standing.
